Pakistani Karahi chicken

Pakistani food! Definately not something a finnish woman like me makes every week, so let's give it a try! I love all these exotic spices.

So what will we need?

500 grams of chicken
500 grams tomatoes (fresh) if you use canned tomatoes 400 grams will do
1 big onion
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of ginger
A little bit chili, you choose the amount
1,5 teaspoon garam masala
1,5 teaspoon chilipowder
1 teaspoon turmeric
3 tablespoons cilantro/coriander
Salt, pepper, oil to fry in

Serve with rice or naan.

Start with chopping chicken in pieces, chop the vegetables, and fry the onion, garlic, ginger in oil. Add chicken to the pan. Add spices and tomatoes. Let it simmer for 25 minutes.

Some of the dishes of karahi are brown in color and some red, I don't know why, so I'm gonna try to find the answer to that, and try to make it brown next time. :-)
