Beluga lentil soup
I made a soup today. I used beluga lentils. I like them because they are black! I had some onion, garlic, ginger in the soup, and chilli. So it was hot! I used whatever I found in my kitchen.
2dl beluga lentils
2 tablespoon butter
2 onions
1 carrot
2 cm ginger
1 tablespoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon pepper powder
A pinch of cinnamon
A pinch of clove powder
A little bit of chiliflakes
Salt
Water
Vegetable broth x1
Cut the carrot and onion, garlic in smaller pieces. But butter in saucepan on high heat, fry the vegetsbles a bit and add the washed lentils and broth and water and spices. Boil on low heat and stir now and then. When the lentils feel soft, the soup it ready. Easy peasy! Enjoy!
