Channa Masala vegan curry

So today trying a vegan recipe. Channa Masala, made with chickpeas. Very fast and easy to make.

You will need:

1 can of chickpeas (or soak dry ones about 2dl over night and cook them for 20 min)
3 onions
4 cloves of garlic
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon ginger paste
(1 green chili)
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon jeera
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon sugar
4 tablespoons oil for frying
Cilantro for garnish
Serve with rice or couscous

Put oil in saucepan/fryingpan and add the spices, then add tomatosauce and the chickpeas, if needed add water. Cook on low-medium heat for about 15 minutes.
