Falafel first time
So I'm adding the stuff I've tried making in the past, because I want to share everything tasty ofcours!
I feel it's convenient to have all my recipes here online also, if god forbid something happens to my precious cookingbook IRL!
So Falafel!
I made these falafels in oven. 200C for 30 minutes. Also I tried frying them in a frying pan. I'm still too afraid to fry them in oil, it just feels like I'm gonna burn down the whole kitchen or something like that. So oven feels save for now.
I soaked the chickpeas over night. And put them in the blender with all the spices and herbs. Put the mixture in the fridge for an hour.
The spices you need: 1 onion and 3 cloves of garlic, a little bit of fresh coriander, a little bit of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cayennepepper, 2 1/2 teaspoon cummin, a little bit of cardamom, one teaspoon of bakingpowder. Roll them into the shape you want, round or more flat. Fry them in oil or put in oven.
